North Woods Retreat
Summer 2014
This campus-style lake camp is a throwback to the classic Adirondack Mountain camps in New York. Everything about this project was carefully designed and crafted to make you feel like you are back at summer camp. Buildings were constructed to accommodate the antique pieces that would be placed inside their walls. The campus includes a dining hall, gathering room, library and separate living quarters. The flower garden was designed by renowned landscape artist Tom Stuart Smith who has won eight gold medals for garden design at the Chelsea Flower Show, including three Best in Show.

About The Project
Constructing Multiple Residences
This project took us to the Northern Midwest where we were tasked with constructing a unique family retreat. While we typically work in the Mountain West region, this project challenged us to complete a large project in a different type of market. We successfully sourced local vendors and completed a project with different building conditions and climate challenges than we typically encounter in Montana.
