Southwest Montana ranch

2012

This reclaimed ranch compound was restored and remodeled in the early 2000’s, and we completed several additional new-build structures in 2012, including the main house. The ranch offers ample opportunities for recreation from fishing in the nearby creek to horseback riding to cross country skiing to a game of pick-up basketball in the granary-turned-basketball court. And, when you’re ready to relax, you can get cozy by one of the two wood-burning stoves in the main house and enjoy a good book, game of cards, or just soak in the impressive views of the two nearby mountain ranges.

About The Project

BUILDING “GREEN”

The owners of this project were committed to ensuring the design and build process were as environmentally friendly as possible. The ground source heat exchange system in the main house heats the house in an efficient, environmentally-friendly manner, while the passive cooling tower facilitates a natural, upwards flow of hot air that keeps the house cool in the summer months.
